My daughter is still in the hospital, my wife stayed overnight with her. I slept well, probably because I was so tired, and because getting my thoughts about Mass Control and marketing our product out helped. I solved part of the list problem! I will join the listserves of the health care professionals, and can email tens of thousands of them through the list serve. Will be crucial to do it well, I think I'll get a friend to recommend my website to get traffic to it to opt-in. Still need to build the website, I have to talk to the webmaster on our team. He is urgent about getting to market, so he will do it quickly.
Therapy with my disabled daughter went ok this morning, her responses were fairly flat. If I do not get on Mass Control, at least it kicked me in the pants to get me moving on an important task. I was originally going to do a video blog, but did not know how to load video on the Internet. Hey, I told you I was a newbie. So, I frantically tried to learn. Point is, we need to video my daughter's therapy, load it onto the secure website, so that our consultant can give us feedback on what we are doing. I had been distracted with other things, but this showed me that if I am willing to learn to create a video blog for a marketing campaign, I better be willing to learn to load video on the site to improve the quality of my daughter's therapy. The issue is with conversion of VRO files, and learning how to edit the video.

Eric Tries Mass Control
Hi,
I decided to start this blog to look at the experience of a total newbie who will attempt to 1) buy the Mass Control system that 41,000 people are interested in and 2) use it. Right now, I am part of a team that has developed a large portal for some health care professionals. So, we have a product. We do not have a list, or a website that can handle orders. I sent some 'get-moving' emails to the other team members to build it up, so that we can launch our product by the end of the class.
So why am I doing this? To begin, I have absolutely no contact, affiliation or relationship with Frank at all. He does not know me, I don't know him. I've just watched the free videos, like the rest of you. It is clear that he is brilliant at marketing, beneath that surfer persona. He has so many people enraptured, and heck, I was awake at midnight last night thinking about this stuff. Anyone who can do that, can get people's attention. Thus, using the methods, I can get my market's attention as well.
And that is pretty important to me. I think our product will help a lot of people. Frankly, the way health care professionals utilize the internet is lousy. Their websites are poor quality, and they utilize so little of the potential of the Internet to help people. If you design something that really uses the capabilities of the Internet, you can help a lot more people, a lot quicker.
And make money doing it, too. That is pretty important to me, I have a disabled child, and therapy costs for treating her disability run to $30,000 per year. It is great to see her improve, but it is a ton of work, time, and money, and getting our product selling fast would take a lot of pressure off of us. Extra money beyond that would be cool, but having the time to be with your kids because the financial pressure is off, is far more important than having a Ferrari in the driveway. At least to me, anyway.
I look forward to the journey, if Mass Control works, I'll tell you, if it is a bust, I'll tell you. I am major into accountability, and tell everyone when I have a good experience with a professional. I'll also file complaints when they REALLY screw up. Anyhow, I have to get to sleep, (my wife has the other daughter in the hospital tonight because of major vomiting) and catch up on the sleep I missed, due to my brain buzzing about Mass Control, business success or failure, when I can go skiing next with all this work to do, etc.
